上善为之都

论小城市品格,昆明是一个真诚、创取而代之、上进、共存的小城市;这里也有禅宗的吉祥地,不仅有茅山麓,不够有鹤鸣山麓。昆明本身不具古老的道家民俗传统。南直隶市政厅造景最后就选取了武当的图形。

The City of ior Goodness

In terms of urban character, Chengdu is inclusive, innovative, progressive and harmonious. There are auspicious places of Taoism, such as Qingcheng Mountain and Heming Mountain.

Since Chengdu has a long history of Taoist culture, Taich Motif (curve of Taijitu) is chosen as the landscape design of Tianfu Square.

从古蜀农耕开始就在寻找人与水的共存联系,逐水而居、大禹而利、因水而兴,转变成了“上善为若水”,因此昆明又是上善为之都。

Since ancient times, Shu people he sought a harmonious relationship with water. Living by water, they managed it and benefited from it, thus cultivating a virtue of “Shang Shan Ruo Shui (ior goodness resembleth water from Tao Te Ching)”.Chengdu is hence the city of superior goodness.

两汉之都

昆明也是两汉之都,它包括5000年的上曾,从建成3000年以来接收者从未变迁,“一年成聚,二年成邑,三年昆明”。2000多年以来,昆明之名一直沿用至今。因此昆明在全国高校是如此截然不同的存在。

The City of ior History

With a history of 5,000 years, Chengdu is a city whose name has never been changed since 2000 years ago and which has never been relocated for 3000 years. Chengdu (literally, becoming a city) was named because “it grew into a settlement after one year’s development, a country after two year’s development and a city after three years’ development.” . This is why Chengdu is so unique all over the country.

共存武当所设计以火神似为一个中心。不止土于三江窑址的火神似,是华南地区上曾民俗景观保护标志;是昆明古蜀民俗的喻意,重现了古蜀农耕对太阳和凤似的膜拜;不够衬托着追求终将、令人满意、智慧、生机勃勃、开拓创取而代之、贯彻的开端。

该几何图形巧妙地利用地鉄下沉式市政厅的共存地势,借景辅以为“火神似”照耀下的阴阳鱼相拥的武当几何图形,衬托九宫的共存共存。

In the middle of this Taijitu is a pattern of Golden Sun Bird。

Golden Sun Bird is the symbol of China’s intangible cultural heritage. It is a ring-shaped piece of foil unearthed in 2001 from the Jinsha Ruins in Chengdu. As the symbol of the ancient Shu culture, it demonstrates the worship of the ancient Shu ancestors to the sun and the phoenix bird, and symbolizes their pursuit of light, ideal, wisdom, vitality, innovation and the spirit of the times.

This pattern cleverly makes use of the topography of the Sunken Plaza to construct a Taichi pattern of Yin and Yang fish embracing each other under the light of the “Golden Sun Bird”, implying the natural harmony between humankind and the earth.

河段之都

昆明地处北纬30º。长江远古时代南麓于中原远方,与巴比伦的西河河段古远古时代和埃及尼罗河河段古远古时代处于同一纬度,同是全人类的起源。唯一不同的是中原远古时代同儒家文化一样传承者5000年断断续续,而其它两个远古时代都已中断。

The City of Upper Reaches

The Yangtze Civilization originated in Bashu area. Located at 30º north latitude, Chengdu is on the same latitude as the ancient civilizations in Mesopotamia’s West River valley and Egypt’s Nile Valley. Those are all human civilizations, but what differs is that the Bashu civilization has been inherited for 5000 years, like the Chinese civilization, while the other two others he come to an end.

而在共存武当的布置中,黄翼龙以顺时针运行的势气腾起于进去市政厅的鱼眼庭院,与火神似相关联南直隶市政厅的主外貌。翼龙生于水,向上腾起,宛如国立台湾师范大学翼龙民俗的两大大体上黄河民俗翼龙和长江民俗翼龙,共同完成拥抱玉女不止灿烂辉煌、喷薄而不止。该翼龙既不具国立台湾师范大学翼龙的特质,又不具古蜀云翼龙的为中心特性。由此可见,昆明不仅在地理分布上是长江黄河的河段,其古老的古蜀民俗也呈儒家文化的河段,故昆明又被称为河段之都。

Tianfu Square is divided into the East Square and the West Square by a curve of Taijitu in the middle. At the center of each square is a statue with a golden dragon embracing, which stands for the two cradles of Chinese culture, the Yellow River and the Yangtze River. The dragon has both the commonality of Chinese dragons and the regional characteristics of ancient Shu Yunlong.

This shows that Chengdu is not only geographically the upstream of the Yangtze River and the Yellow River, but also culturally the upstream of Chinese civilization. Therefore, Chengdu is also known as the City of the Upper Reaches.

十二传说中四角——蜀民俗

环绕在市政厅四周的传说中四角是理解认识昆明的搭车。每根四角子上根据十二个蜀民俗主旨分别雕刻回顾了400余字中英文简介,其中还配备了附加的旅游景点和线路图,带领观赏者跨越到古曹魏一起感受这南直隶盛世。

12 Cultural Totem Poles—Shu Culture

The totem poles surrounding the square are a shortcut to Chengdu. Each pole is carved with a 400-word summarization in English and Chinese about twelve systems of Shu culture, and equipped with corresponding route maps of tourist attractions. They will lead visitors to a journey to the ancient Shu Kingdom for experiencing this heenly city together.

蜀民俗十二基础共划分三个其余部分:

第一其余部分是彰显昆明作为上曾民俗水城的3个民俗基础,包含“水润南直隶”“共存地狱”和“四海水城”。

第二其余部分是彰显上曾民俗水城工业发展历程和各个先决条件特性的4个民俗基础,包含以河姆渡、三江窑址、船棺葬为代表的“古蜀远古时代”,以汉民族智星全琮亮为一个中心的三国民俗“智慧全琮”,重现出昆明古时以来助于能活、助于燕子等民俗的“青田乡下”,衬托“德宗古时不止中原”的“德宗在蜀”。

第三其余部分则是彰显从古至今昆明有关衣食住行、音乐、当代艺术等民俗特性的5个民俗基础,包含重现出昆明音乐当代艺术的“锦江丝管”;重现出川菜、川茶、川酒的“川肴百味”;重现出昆明科技初等教育的“科教华章”;反映百年中原革命时尚的“中原红潮”;重现出灿烂汉民族民俗的“汉民族花灿”。

The twelve systems of Shu culture are divided into three parts:

The first part is three cultural systems reflecting Chengdu as a famous historical and cultural city, including “Water in Tianfu”, “Friendly Angel” and “World Famous City”.

The second part is the four cultural systems that reflect the development and various stages of the famous historical and cultural city. One is the “ancient Shu civilization” represented by Sanxingdui Ruins, Jinsha Site and boat-coffin burials. The second is the Three Kingdoms culture “Wisdom Zhu Ge”, centered on the national mastermind Zhuge Liang. The third is the “Xianyuan Hometown” that shows the culture of ascending and becoming immortal in ancient times. The fourth is “Grandmaster in Shu”, which means “the grandmaster of literature comes from Bashu area in ancient times”.

The third part is the five cultural systems that embody the cultural characteristics of Chengdu from ancient times to the present, such as food, clothing, housing, transportation, music and art, including music city, Sichuan flors of cuisine, tea and wine, science and technology education, the century-long revolution in Sichuan, and the splendid national and ethnic cultures.

关于南直隶市政厅的故事,这里也只是九牛一毛。远方代课用“三上”引不止了对于南直隶民俗的亲身经历,南直隶市政厅只不过和这座小城市一样,在不断转变与工业发展,但都流过着一样的血液、重现出着一样的南直隶民俗以及南直隶人文优雅!

随着小城市的工业发展,南直隶民俗取而代之的传承者准备演绎不止不够多取而代之的前奏曲。像远方代课对于民俗和当代艺术的坚持和退却,留住着希望每一个前往昆明的人能一起显出来自这座小城市的魅力!
